A Creative and Feminine Approach to Living With Chronic Pain

Welcome

Hi, I’m Becky!

I am a post-menopausal, long-term chronic pain warrior, but, first and foremost, I am also a textile artist, seeker of serenity and joy, and an advocate of seasonal living and natural healing.

I know that living with chronic pain as a constant companion, potentially with no end in sight, can have a drastic effect on your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. It leads to stress, and stress worsens pain, meaning that when you live with constant pain you can become trapped in a vicious cycle of

PAIN – OVERWHELM – STRESS – MORE PAIN

And once you are trapped in that cycle it doesn’t take long to feel that you are ‘becoming your pain’. That your pain somehow defines you.
